Refund Policy

1. General Refund Policy

At M2Y Tours and Travels, we understand that plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for our various services.

2. Tour Package Cancellations

Cancellation charges for tour packages are as follows:

  • 30+ days before departure: 25% cancellation fee (75% refund)
  • 15-29 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee (50% refund)
  • 7-14 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee (25% refund)
  • Less than 7 days: 100% cancellation fee (No refund)

3. Flight Ticket Cancellations

Flight ticket cancellations are subject to airline policies:

  • Refundable tickets: Airline cancellation charges + M2Y service fee of ₹500 per ticket
  • Non-refundable tickets: No refund available (as per airline policy)
  • Cancellation must be done at least 4 hours before departure
  • Refund processing time: 7-21 working days depending on airline

4. Hotel Booking Cancellations

Hotel cancellation policies vary by property:

  • Free cancellation: Available if cancelled within the hotel's free cancellation period
  • Non-refundable bookings: No refund available
  • Partial refund: As per individual hotel policy
  • M2Y service fee of ₹300 applies on all cancellations

5. Visa Services

Visa service fees are non-refundable once the application process has begun. However:

  • If cancelled before document submission: 50% refund of service fee
  • After document submission: No refund
  • Embassy/Consulate fees are non-refundable in all cases

6. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Send a cancellation request via email to contact@m2ytours.site
  2. Include your booking reference number and reason for cancellation
  3. Our team will review and confirm the cancellation within 24-48 hours
  4. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  5. Processing time: 7-14 working days after approval

7. Force Majeure

In case of cancellations due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, etc.):

  • We will work with service providers to maximize refunds
  • Credit notes may be offered for future bookings
  • Refund amounts depend on supplier policies
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover such situations

8. No-Show Policy

If you fail to show up for your booking without prior cancellation, no refund will be provided. This applies to all services including flights, hotels, and tour packages.

9. Modification Charges

If you wish to modify your booking instead of cancelling:

  • Date changes: Subject to availability and supplier charges + ₹500 M2Y service fee
  • Name changes: ₹1000 per person (subject to airline/hotel approval)
  • Destination changes: Treated as new booking
